Selected work

While Halifax is where my main studio is currently located, I also have ties to the West Coast that enable me to work there as well. A lot of studios for animation, games, and film are located in Vancouver, and if you have reached me in your research for an illustrator for your project here, I can certainly help out. I am also open to relocation to Vancouver for in-house positions as well.

I am open to any roles here in Vancouver, from studio to private commissions. I know the local and atmosphere of this province well having grown up there, so if you’re wanting a vibe from your illustrations that match Vancouver, I can certainly bring it forward. This can be for a venue, or book publishing, or educational content. I am also available for private commissions, such as any kind of portraiture or other illustration.

Common questions

Are you actually in Vancouver?

I have periods where I am in Vancouver, and have grown up around the White Rock area. If you need me to be present in the province at some point for your commission, ask and I'll let you know if it's possible. Typically I'm here during the December and some months in Summer.

Do you work with Vancouver studios?

Of course, and would be extremely open to relocating possibly as well for in-house positions.

Does the distance affect deadlines?

Not at all, I can adjust to any time zone thanks to the nature of digital work, and delivering printed media doesn't take too long when it's domestic. If anything, I can have work deliverable for you earlier in the day thanks to Halifax being ahead.

Where does the West Coast show up in your work?

There's a lot of West Coast influences to be found, such as how frequently mountains make their appearances in my landscapes to the whimsical appearances of our own temperate rainforests.
