More from the collection

I currently live in Halifax after coming here for NSCAD, which I graduated from 2026. There’s a lot of quirks here that make for good inspiration, from certain holiday horrors to the bizarre weather. Whether your project is related to the Maritimes in some way, or you just would prefer for the scope to stay within your own backyard, I can assist in Halifax-made illustrations.

If you are a Haligonian, there are some benefits to keeping your project local. It’s easier to meet in person if the opportunity requires, shipping of printed materials is far more streamlined, working in the same time zone and Holidays, and more. Furthermore, it’s also easier to get access to certain government-aided funding for arts and/or publishing by promoting yourself as fully local and supportive of the independent economy here in Halifax.

There’s many odd-jobs I can supply for that are certain to help get your project out there, especially when getting the help of a local artist. Advertising for concerts, events, and venues. Promotional or educational material. Artwork for interior decoration or decoration on prints such as menus or postcards. The list goes on. I can also do personal, private commission such as family or pet portraits for any occasion.

Common questions

Do you take on local projects in person?

Yes. I can also be open to meeting in person in some cases, though for the most part Teams/Zoom is preferred.

Can I get prints or originals without paying for shipping?

Pick-up in public spaces can be arranged around the Nova Scotia downtown area, such as a mall. I am also currently working on getting prints sold in local stores.

Do you paint murals or shop art such as chalkboard art?

I am open to it, though there are constraints in terms of surface size, I don't see myself comfortable painting on a ladder so large wall-side murals are probably a no-go unless it's something that can be done on the ground. Send me the information such as surface and sizing, and we can go from there.

Do you work with businesses outside the arts?

Yes. I consider myself more of an illustrator rather than an artist, and so I'm not really in the traditional arts space to begin with. Cafe's, bars, restaurants, boutiques, independent businesses, and anything else I can work with.

Do you only take Halifax work?

Not at all. This page is just for additional information for local clientele.
